HEADLINE: Get back to your hobbies pain free with a modality I’ve practiced for 25 years.
I was in my 20s having the time of my life onstage when I realized I couldn’t feel my bass guitar. The numbness in my hands continued with more frequency and eventually my panic set in - I couldn’t keep playing with the discomfort.
I tried everything from therapies to doctors and nothing seemed to help. Finally one doctor told me “‘You might just have to stop playing.” I thought, you might as well just tell me to stop breathing.
So when you enter my practice with discomfort doing the things you love, I get it. Your first concern is the aching pain, but then comes your second nagging thought: does this mean I have to give up doing the things I love?
The GOOD news: I found neuromuscular therapy - a non-invasive modality that brought the dexterity back to my hands and kept me active in a music career touring with the likes of Dionne Warwick and playing on iconic TV shows Cheers and Frasier.
Intrigued with neuromuscular therapy, I studied with its original practitioners and at the Santa Monica School of Massage where I earned a certificate and license in the practice. Orthopedic doctors, physical therapists and acupuncturists have referred clients to me because the work I do augments their therapies and speeds healing. I’ve helped clients recover from migraines, desk posture-related pain, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, knee pain and sciatica.
You name it, I’ve seen it and will work on patients aged 2 to 90.
Ready to feel better?
In good health,
